If I feel I need to push the subject then [my parents] are perfectly willing to say, ‘We still don’t agree, but you do what you want.’ I feel like they’re pretty inquisitive about other aspects of my life, like if I’m eating right or how I’m doing in school, or how certain friends of mine are. But that subject, they kind of say, ‘we don’t agree,’ so they don’t really want to know about it.

I always have that hope that maybe my parents will see the light… but probably not in the near future.
